Mountain Biking and E-MTBs
We highly recommend renting e-bikes and enjoy the surroundings! Wild View Retreat is located in the Serra do Caldeirão mountains, a Zona De Intervenção Florestal protected for its natural beauty and famous Portuguese cortiça (cork) trees. Discover the nature and remote villages around Wild View Retreat, while being physically active and getting electrical help when going uphill.

Dead Sea Bathing
The DEAD SEA | Salinas do Grelha is a saltpan sited in the coast of Olhão, in the heart of Ria Formosa, where traditional sea salt and flor de sal are produced. In addition to the store where you can buy their products, Salinas do Grelha offers guided visits in which you can learn about salt and the traditional methods of production. The main attraction of the Salinas do Grelha is the "Dead Sea". The Dead Sea is a lake of about 2000m2 where visitors can bathe.
